The Nirvana Carbon Foundation is our nonprofit home for one belief: that the transition to a cleaner economy should be led by the young people it is meant to serve.
What we do
Across rural eastern India, the Foundation builds green entrepreneurship pathways for young people, including women and youth from communities the mainstream economy has long overlooked.
The work centres on producing and applying TerraOasis, a proprietary blend with industrial uses across the value chain. Around it, we create paid, skills-based roles that give young people a real foothold, and their communities a reason to keep them close.
Our commitments
Young people are not beneficiaries of the work. They are the ones doing it, and the ones it is built to lift.
