Nirvana Carbon Solutions began in 2024 out of Princeton University's departments of Operations Research & Financial Engineering and Environmental Studies. We stay deliberately close to the ground.

With a background across nonprofit development, medical research, and finance, Sunrit is focused on building scalable private-sector answers to development challenges. His roots trace back to the paddy fields of rural West Bengal, where he has led education, water-access, and human-services projects. His aim with Nirvana Carbon is to bridge talent, capital, and expertise between the West and the global south.
Co-founder
Emma's work in venture capital and ESG private equity pairs with research interests in climate science to shape models for decarbonization that can be replicated across economies. She has worked with nonprofits across Europe and Asia on climate and biodiversity, and is driven by aligning the incentives of development and impact so that communities are never left behind.
